Whiteboards
Turn your map into a shared canvas. Sketch out plans, mark up ideas, and plan projects together, with the whole crew able to jump in and pick up where you left off.
A whiteboard turns your course into a canvas. Instead of describing a project in a group chat, you draw it: sketch out a bunker renovation, mark up a drainage plan, block out where the new cart path runs. It gives the crew one place to develop and share plans.
Boards are shared: anything you put on a board is there for the rest of the crew, so someone else can jump in, see your work, and add to it. Your boards are saved too, so you can come back to a plan next week, or next season, and pick up right where you left off.
Create and work a board
-
Click Whiteboard on the left toolbar to open your property’s board library.
-
Create a board and give it a name, like “Fall projects” or “Green 7 redo”, so the crew knows what it’s for.
-
Open it and draw. You have the essentials: pen, shapes, text, an eraser, and a range of colors and line weights.
-
Click Save when you’re done. A Saved / Unsaved badge tells you whether your latest work is stored.
-
Back in the library you can rename, duplicate, or remove any board, so you can spin off a variation or clear out old plans.
-
Tap Whiteboard in the Home command bar to open your board library, the same boards you’d see on the web.
-
Open an existing board or create a new one. You can rename them and move between as many boards as you like.
-
The board opens full screen over the map, with the full set of drawing tools. Sketch your idea, then close it to get back to the course.
Whiteboards live in the Home section only; you won’t find them in the other sections.
If something’s not working
If the board shows an Unsaved badge, your latest strokes aren’t stored yet; click Save before you leave. If Whiteboard is locked, it’s for Owners and Management; ask one of them to open the board, or reach out at support@turfile.com.
