Recurring maintenance

Put areas that need consistent attention on a repeating schedule, and see what's due at a glance.

Some work repeats on the same ground: trimming native areas, edging bunkers, topdressing a green. A recurring event ties that work to the areas it covers and a repeat interval, so the team can always see what’s due.

Create one

  1. Click Create recurring in the toolbar. Selection works exactly like prescriptions: click the areas to include, or Draw custom polygon for ground you haven’t mapped. You can also Draw line for work that follows an edge, like edging a bunker or a cartpath. Click along the edge and double-click to finish.

  2. Click Continue, give it a title, set Repeat every (days), and pick the Starting date (the first due date). Add notes if the crew needs specifics.

  3. Click Save recurring event.

The recurring list

Click Recurring in the toolbar. Events sort by urgency: overdue at the top, then due soon, then everything scheduled further out. Each row shows its interval and a due badge.

Click an event and the map highlights the shapes and lines it covers. From the details you can:

  • Mark completed. This records today as the completion date and schedules the next due date automatically (today plus the interval), which moves the event back down the list. Recurring events are reminders; Turfile doesn’t keep a completion history.
  • Edit details to change the title, interval, next due date, or notes.
  • Delete recurring event (it asks you to confirm).

Good to know

  • A recurring event snapshots its shapes when you save it, same as prescriptions. Editing an area later doesn’t change what the event covers.
  • To skip an occurrence or pull one forward, adjust Next due in Edit details.
