Export to your sprayer

Download a prescription as a sprayer-ready shapefile ZIP, and calibrate for GPS offset if your boundaries are off in the field.

Any prescription exports as a shapefile ZIP that loads straight into a GPS sprayer display.

  1. Open Prescriptions, click the one you’re spraying, and click Export prescription.

  2. Check the prefilled Prescription name, Grower / operator, and Farm / property. These show up on the sprayer display.

  3. Enter the Application rate. It applies to every polygon, and the unit is whatever your sprayer display is configured for.

  4. Click Download shapefile ZIP and transfer the file to your display.

Good to know

  • The ZIP contains the four shapefile parts (.shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj) in the standard format sprayer displays expect.
  • Anyone who can open a prescription can export it, but only Owners’ and Management’s entries are saved on the prescription for the next export.
  • If the sprayed ground is consistently off from the map, set up the prescription offset once and every export corrects for it.

If something’s not working

The display won’t load the file. Try loading the ZIP as-is first; many displays read it directly. If your display needs loose files, unzip it and keep all four files together in the same folder.

The rate on the display looks wrong. The rate is unitless in the file. Check what unit your display is configured to interpret.
