Set up your property

Finish setting up a new club from the welcome email with the owner setup wizard.

After checkout we send a welcome email with a setup link. It opens a short wizard that creates your property, makes you its Owner, and drops a pin on your course. It takes about five minutes.

Run the setup wizard

  1. Open the welcome email and click the setup link. Turfile signs you in automatically.

  2. Confirm it’s you. If your account already has a password, the wizard asks for it.

  3. Profile. Enter your Display name, in the style of the placeholder: “Stephen – Superintendent”. Your team sees this name.

  4. Security. If you don’t have a password yet, create one here. It needs at least 8 characters, and you’ll type it twice to confirm.

  5. Club. Enter your Club name (at least 2 characters). This is the property name your team will see.

  6. Location. The map step, “Select your course location”, tells you what to do: “Pan and zoom, then click the exact spot for your course.” One click places the pin.

  7. Review. Check the summary (Plan, Seats, Storage, Club, Display name, Password, Location), then click Create property. It shows “Creating property…” while everything is provisioned.

Your course is now on the map, you’re the Owner, and you’re ready to bring your team in.

If the welcome email doesn’t arrive

Everything starts with that email, so if it hasn’t shown up:

  • Check your spam or junk folder, and search your whole inbox for “Turfile”.
  • Give it a few minutes. It usually lands right after checkout, but it can lag a little.
