Account Deletion

Turfile users can request deletion of their account and associated account data at any time.

How to request account deletion

You can request account deletion in either of the following ways:

1. From within the Turfile app
   Open the app, go to your account or settings area, and submit an account deletion request.

2. By email
   Email help@turfile.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your Turfile account.

What happens after you request deletion

After we receive an account deletion request, we will follow up with you as soon as possible to confirm the request and help ensure it was not submitted by mistake.

Once confirmed, we provide a 24-hour grace period before deleting account data. During this grace period, you may contact us to cancel the deletion request.

After the 24-hour grace period has passed, we will begin processing the deletion of your Turfile account and associated account data.

Data that may be deleted

Account deletion may include deleting or disabling your Turfile user account, removing your access to properties, and deleting personal account information associated with your user profile, such as your name, email address, and account access details.

Where applicable, account deletion may also include deleting user-submitted content associated directly with your account, such as uploaded files, photos, notes, or records.

Data that may be retained

Some data may be retained where necessary for legal, security, accounting, fraud prevention, backup, audit, or legitimate business purposes.

Because Turfile is used by organizations to manage shared property records, some operational records, property records, issue history, map data, asset records, documentation, or uploaded property information may remain available to the organization or property account where that information is required for continuity of operations.

We will only retain data where we have a valid reason to do so.

Processing time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days after the 24-hour grace period has passed.
