Docs Handbook
Handbook
Map your course's accessories and infrastructure and turn it into a guide your staff can navigate, where the rakes go, where the washrooms are, where to park, with photos and standards on every item.
The Handbook is where you map everything else on your course, the accessories and infrastructure that keep the place running, and turn it into a guide your whole staff can navigate.
Think of it as the map you’d hand a new crew member: where the bunker rakes go, where the washrooms are, and where they can and can’t park. Instead of learning it all by asking around, they open the map and see it.
Each item carries more than a location. Click any item and you get its details, photos, and a description, so the Handbook records your course standards as well. Everyone can see exactly how and where things are meant to be.
In this section
- Setting up your handbook: build the templates you’ll place on the map, your objects, lines, and areas.
- Adding to your handbook: drop objects, draw lines and areas, add text, and attach photos and notes.
- Creating issues: flag something that’s wrong and assign it to someone to fix.
- Direction of cut: save mowing directions for your surfaces and show the day’s pick on the map.
- Volunteer map: build a second Handbook map for event volunteers, separate from the staff map.
- Publishing the volunteer map: hand volunteers an event code that opens the map in the Turfile app.
- Opening an event map as a volunteer: the steps a volunteer follows, written for them.
Owners and Management build the Handbook, and the whole crew can open any item to see its standards, photos, and notes. Details in Roles and permissions.
