History and record logs
The full ledger of sightings across the property, plus a change log on every species and tracked subject.
Two kinds of history live in the section. The History ledger is every sighting on the property in one reverse-chronological list. Record logs are the change trail on an individual record: who created it, what was edited, when a species was corrected.
The History ledger
Click History in the toolbar. Every sighting is listed newest first, with the species, date, count, and notes. Click one to open its details, or focus it to fly the map to where it happened. The observation filter applies here too, so the ledger always matches the map.
Tap History in the toolbar. It opens the History tab of the catalogue, the same newest-first list with the filter controls at the top.
Record logs
Open a species or a tracked subject and expand its history to see the change trail: created, edited, corrected, with who and when. When a species correction moves sightings, both the old and the new species keep a note of it, so an auditor can follow what happened.
Good to know
- The ledger respects the active date filter. If it looks short, check the filter before assuming records are gone. See Filter the map.
