Measuring tools
The standard measuring tools you'd expect from something like Google Earth, distances, areas, and angles, right on your course map.
The measuring tools are exactly what they sound like: the standard set you’d reach for in something like Google Earth, built right into your course map. Click Measurement tools on the toolbar and start measuring.
You can:
- Measure distances by dropping points along a line, a cart path, a pipe run, the walk from the shop to the 9th tee.
- Measure areas by outlining a shape, a green, a bunker, a spray zone, and reading the square footage.
- Read angles between the sides of a polygon as you draw it.
- Switch units to whatever your crew works in.
It’s quick, hands-on measuring for when you just need a number off the map. Every role can use it, including Staff, so anyone can grab a measurement.
For irregular shapes you’d rather not trace by hand, like a whole fairway or a pond, Turfile Vision can outline it for you and return the square footage in a couple of clicks.
