Home

The Home section is your general workspace. It’s a collection of Turfile’s basic mapping tools, plus a place to manage jobs and track the things that don’t belong to a specific section like Irrigation, Drainage, or Trees.

So if you spot a problem or have a task that isn’t tied to a piece of mapped infrastructure, Home is where it lives. It’s also where the everyday tools sit: measuring, whiteboards, your assets, photos, and your property’s history.

The tools run down the left toolbar on the web and along a command bar on mobile. Here’s what each one is for.

• Issues and to-dos: drop a problem or a job anywhere on the map, hand it off, and close it out.
• Turfile Vision: click a spot and the segmentation model outlines it and gives you the square footage (web only).
• Whiteboards: turn your map into a shared canvas for plans and ideas.
• Asset manager: track your equipment and infrastructure and plan replacements before things fail.
• Measuring tools: distances, areas, and angles, right on the map.
• Photo manager: take photos in the field and browse them all from the desk.
• History: the permanent record of everything reported and resolved, kept per section.

What you see in the toolbar depends on your role, and each guide says who can use what. Details in Roles and permissions.
