Docs Area Manager
Create a prescription
Turn any set of mapped areas into a planned application, ready to export to your sprayer.
A prescription is a planned application: the ground to treat, a planned date, and notes. Build it from your mapped areas, from one-off drawn polygons, or both.
-
Click Create prescription in the toolbar. The map dims so your selection stands out.
-
Click every area you want to include. Selected areas highlight in amber; click one again to remove it.
-
To include ground you haven’t mapped, click Draw custom polygon, outline it (double-click to close), then click Add polygon. Draw as many as you need, then click Done.
-
To leave ground out of the prescription, for example when you’re spraying a green but skipping its back half, click Add negative area. Click mapped areas to exclude them, or click Draw negative polygon and outline the ground to skip. Negative shapes show in red. Click Include areas to switch back and keep selecting.
-
Click Continue, enter a title (for example “Greens fungicide July”), set the planned date, add notes if needed, and click Save prescription.
Your prescriptions
Click Prescriptions in the toolbar to open the list, filterable by Planned and Completed. Click a prescription and the map highlights the ground it covers.
From a prescription’s details you can:
- Export prescription, covered in Export to your sprayer.
- Edit details to change the title, date, or notes.
- Mark complete once it’s been applied. Completed prescriptions stay in the list as your application history.
- Delete prescription (it asks you to confirm).
Good to know
- A prescription snapshots its shapes when you save it. Reshaping or deleting an area later doesn’t change your application history.
- Negative areas are cut out of the saved shapes themselves. The prescription, and anything you export from it, only covers the ground that’s left.
- The total square footage is shown while you select, so you know the coverage before saving. With negative areas it’s the net figure, after the cutouts.
