Manage the drainage inventory

Browse every drainage object in one searchable list. Filter, relocate, park items off the map, and delete with password confirmation.

Once your system is mapped, the Inventory drawer is the one place that holds your hardware: every drainage object on the property (basins, outlets, cleanouts, and the rest) in a single list. It’s where you fix placement mistakes, park hardware that’s been dug up, and delete things for good.

Browse and find things

  1. In the Drainage section, click Inventory on the left toolbar. The drawer slides in on the right of the map.

  2. Type in the search field (“Search items…”) to find items by name, hole, area, or type, and narrow further with the three dropdowns: All Holes, All Areas, and All Types. Rows show as “Name (Hole, Area)”. Drain lines and trenches aren’t listed here; manage those through drain line tools.

  3. Click any row and the map flies to it and opens its details.

On mobile

Tap Inventory on the drainage toolbar for the same list, read-only: search, plus Type, Hole, and Area filters. Tap an item and the map focuses it and opens its details. Relocating, unplacing, and deleting from the list stay on the web.

Move, add, or remove from the map

On the web, hover a row to see its actions:

  • Relocate on map: click the move arrows, then click the item’s real spot on the map. The banner guides you: “Click the map to move this item here.”
  • Add to map: items that aren’t currently placed show a green pin button instead. Click it, then click the map to place them.
  • Remove from map: the yellow pin-x takes the item off the map but keeps its record, logs, and history. Use it for hardware that’s been pulled but might come back.

Delete for good

Deleting removes the item permanently: record, logs, connections, everything. That’s why it asks for your password.

  1. Click the red trash icon (Delete) on a row. For several at once, click Select, tick the items (the header counts them, e.g. “4 selected”), and click Delete selected. Cancel leaves select mode.

  2. Read the confirmation: “This action is irreversible and will permanently remove the item and its connections. Please confirm with your password.”

  3. Type your Turfile password and click Delete permanently.

If something’s not working

The Inventory button isn’t on my toolbar. Inventory is limited to Owners and Management (“Inventory is limited to management or owners.”).

“Deletes are limited to roles with delete access. Ask management/owner.” Your role can’t delete, even from inside the panel.

“Enter your password to confirm deletion.” The password field was left empty. The delete won’t run without it.

“Password was incorrect. Try again.” The password doesn’t match your Turfile sign-in. Accounts that sign in with Google don’t have a password to confirm with; have an Owner or Management member with email sign-in run the delete, or contact support.

“You must be signed in to delete items.” Your session expired. Sign in again and retry.

“Error removing item from map: …” The update failed, usually connectivity. The alert includes the reason; try again.

The list says “No objects available yet. Add some objects to begin!” Either nothing’s been mapped yet, or your filters exclude everything. Reset the three dropdowns first.
